Macha Family Eye Care, P.C.

Rajender Macha, O.D.

Dr. Rajender Macha is a 1998 graduate of Indiana University School of Optometry. He specializes in full-scope optometric care, including contact lens and glasses. He is also trained in ocular disease and can manage cataracts, glaucoma, ocular diabetes, diabetic eye care and macular degeneration.

Tony Wagler, O.D.

Dr. Tony S. Wagler grew up in Loogootee , Indiana , helping his dad with his construction business and playing lots of baseball and basketball.  He attended Indiana University and graduated with honors with a BS in Microbiology. 
 
Dr. Wagler began graduate school in the fall of 2002 at the IU School of Optometry.  He completed an internship at Eye Surgeons of Indiana in the spring of 2006.  He developed a strong interest in contact lens and management of ocular disease. 
Dr. Wagler is a member of the Central Indiana Optometric Society, the Indiana Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. 
 
He still enjoys playing baseball, going to all sorts of sporting events and watching his much-loved nieces play volleyball.

Front Office Staff

Becky

I am the front office supervisor. I have enjoyed working at MFEC since July 2004 and look forward to many more years serving our patients. I have an Associates Degree in Health Claims Management and Medical Assisting, and am a certified medical assistant. Please feel free to contact me with questions about billing or your account or comments about our service.

Brandi

In April 2009 I joined MFEC as part of the front office team. I enjoy helping communicate with our patients through follow up calls, reminder cards and appointments you call in to set. I get to ask you all those fun medical and insurance questions! I usually get to meet many of you as you check out after you see the doctor. I am presently attending Anderson University for my Bachelors Degree. At the end of the day, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and our newest addition to our family, a baby girl.

I joined MFEC in Sepember 2011! I work at the front desk and the first person you meet when you come in. I am the one that gets to ask you to fill out all that fun paperwork! I have been married for seven years and have two handsome boys. I enjoy spending my evenings with my family!

Samantha

I joined MFEC in January 2011! I graduated in 2007 from Indiana Business College with an Associates Degree in Business Administration. I take care of billing insurance on behalf of our patients. I can also help with questions about your insurance benefits or your patient account. As always, I am happy to assist in scheduling an appointment for your next eye exam.

Shellie

I joined the MFEC front office staff in August of 2011 and enjoy several miscellaneous tasks such as answering the phones, scheduling appointments, working with insurance, and anything else I can do to be of help. My “other life” consists of attending graduate school to complete a doctoral degree in music, with the future intention of teaching college level voice.

I started in September 2010, I work in the front office, checking in/out patients and seeing friends that are patients here. I have been married for 20 years and have two beautiful daughters. I enjoy spending time with my family at the end of the day.

Alexis

I work part time helping in our goal to go electronic by scanning patient charts into the computer. I also play an essential role in organizing the charts. I currently attend Anderson University and plan to double major in English and Spanish.

Back Office Staff

I started with Dr. Macha in November 2001 when he and I did every task in the front and back office, including janitorial duties! It has been an awesome experience to be a part of MFEC. I was drawn to Dr. Macha's underlying goal to give good service to those who come to our office. My job is to direct all the staff members who help our patients select frames and lenses and contacts that meet their vision and life style needs. I also oversee the pretesting of our patients as well as the production from our in-house lab. I look forward to seeing you for your eye care needs.
 

Michelle

I came to work for MFEC in October 2008, but have been in the optical field for over 9 years. My skills and duties include assisting you in selection of the proper frames and lenses as dictated by your life style and prescription. I also assist our patients in proper fit and repair of their glasses. Not only do I help out in dispensery but I also assist with your exam. Feel free to contact me if you want to schedule an appointment or if you have any questions regarding frames and lenses. I look forward to meeting you!


Priscilla

A native of Madison County, I began my optical career over 17 years ago just after sight was discovered. :) My extensive optical experience allows me to work successfully with the most challenging and difficult prescriptions as well as fitting and dispensing contact lenses. I can also repair and adjust frames for you comfort. It is very important to me that you feel you are well taken care of and that your visit with us is a positive experience.

I join MFEC in March of 2010. I have been working in the optical business since 1995. With this experience I pretest patients, help with the selection of frames and adjust glasses. When I'm not at work I enjoy spending time with my three children and four grandchildren and like to travel.

Misty

I have lived in Anderson most of my life. I am a 2009 graduate from Ivy Tech. I became part of the MFEC team in September 2010. I do pretesting before you see the doctor. I will also help you choose a frame that best fits you. At the end of the day, I enjoy taking off my shoes and watching television with my family. Hope to meet with you soon!
